Description:

A two to five year postdoctoral position in functional neuroimaging is open to: 1) recent Ph.D.'s in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, neuroscience, neuropharmacology, computer science, or other applicable discipline or 2) M.D.'s with residency training in psychiatry, neurology, nuclear medicine, radiology or other relevant field. Possible areas of concentration include 1) neurofunctional substrate of higher cognitive function, particularly regarding working memory and frontal lobe; 2) neurofunctional bases of neuropsychiatric illnesses, including schizophrenia, genetic disorders of cognition (e.g. William's Syndrome), and aging; 3) computational neuroscience (statistical and systems approaches); 4) neurochemical underpinnings of higher cognitive function and dysfunction. Familiarity with computational (especially UNIX, C/C++, matlab) and statistical (e.g. SPM, AFNI) methods will confer an advantage but is not required.
