Dr. Doris Wu received her B.S. degree from University of Wisconsin in 1976 and her M.S. from University of Southern California in 1978. She received her Ph.D. in 1983 from University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied the regulation of catecholamine-sensitive adenylate cyclase in glial cells. In 1987, she joined Connie Cepko's laboratory at Harvard University studying cell type determination in the vertebrate retina. She moved to NIDCD in 1993, and her laboratory is studying molecular mechanisms governing morphogenesis of the vertebrate inner ear.
