Description:

A post-doctoral position is available to study neural mechanisms of higher cognitive function, such as learning and memory. In particular, Cre/loxP or inducible genetic technology, rodent behavioral analyses, and in vivo multi-electrode recording techniques on awake behaving animals will be used for comprehensive analyses of brain-region restricted transgenic mice. The ideal candidate will have PhD or equivalent in cellular and behavioral neuroscience, or in vivo physiologist, and less than 5 years of post-doctoral experience.
