A
postdoctoral position is available to study cochlear micro and nanomechanics.
Our interest is to study the biomechanics of mechanotransduction.
The project involves developing new techniques for using the atomic
force microscope to determine the morphology and mechanical properties
of tissue isolated from the mammalian cochlea. Candidates with an
interest in biomechanics, instrumentation, computer interfacing, and
modeling are encouraged to apply.
