Description:
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Synaptic and Developmental Plasticity Group directed by Serena M. Dudek. Investigations will include molecular and cellular analysis of synaptic plasticity in the adult and developing brain. We seek a creative independent scientist with a strong background in molecular biology to contribute to the understanding of regulation of gene transcription by neuronal activity.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Cell or Molecular biology, or Neurobiology and have less than four years of prior postdoctoral experience. The NIEHS has consistently been listed in the top five places for postdocs to work, as surveyed in The Scientist.
